Automatic Digital Refractometer: Abbemat
Refractive index (RI) measurements with the Abbemat automatic digital refactometer are fast and non-destructive. In refractometry, only a small volume of sample is required. For routine applications choose from different flow-through cells to suit your analysis and get RI and RI-derived results in seconds, e.g. the sugar content of a sample

Attractive optical design
- High resolution of 0.000001 nD
- Measuring range from 1.32 to 1.56 nD (HP model) and in a wide range from 1.30 to 1.72 nD (WR model)
- The HP model is used for routine applications and also frequently as a sugar refractometer (ICUMSA)
- The WR model allows RI measurements of organic solvents, perfumes and aromas
Save space and money with internal temperature control
- Very fast adjustment of sample temperature
- No external thermocirculator required
- Internal Peltier thermostat adjusts the temperature accurate to ±0.03 °C
- Temperature control from 10 to 70 °C, optionally up to 110 °C (HPHT and WRHT model)
- Stability of the temperature adjustment is ±0.002 °C
Intuitive operation
- Easy operation combined with best performance by using a PC as an intelligent terminal
- Large number of pre-programmed scales
- Easy calibration
- GLP-conform data recording
- User management
- Wide range of measuring modes
