Cone penetrometers

Used to determine the moisture content at which clay soils pass from a plastic to a liquid state and used also for the determination of undrained shear strenght (CEN ISO/TS 17892-12). Two versions available: the standard one and the semiautomatic one where the cone is allowed to free fall for a period of 5 seconds. The apparatus features:

• A cast iron base with levelling feet
• Digital penetration measurement gauge 0.01 mm precision
• Micrometer vertical adjustment device
• Automatic zeroing
• Electronic release mechanism (22-T0029/AD, model only)
